Simple game to play.
Chairs work best, but you can play with the inner circle sitting on the floor…might be easier than chairs for them…?
So the object of the game is to have fun.
You need an odd number of players. They each find a partner – expect one.
Have one partner sit in a chair in a circle. The other partner stands behind their partner. The player with no partner stands behind an empty chair.
The player with the empty chair (from here on called the Winker) wants to steal a partner to sit on his chair.
The Winker winks at one of the sitters. That person then tries to get away from their partner by quickly getting off their chair and moving to the Winkers Chair. The partner behind the sitter, to keep their partner, must touch the sitter’s shoulders with their hands and without moving their feet.
It the sitter gets away untouched than the standing partner becomes the Winker and the game continues.
You can have two Winkers to make it more interesting once the group has gotten to understand the game.
I think that does it…
