So Open Age 4 and Girls Only Wilderness are all checked in. It poured rain during arrivals tonight but everyone managed just fine. It didn’t help that my umbrella started to leak after the first 20 minutes of the downpour, but I didn’t get too wet.
A big thank you to all of our staff – I had a group of staff waiting for their Rainbow Campers to arrive when they were getting soaked in the downpour and then they began to sing, “Singing in the Rain”. If you have never heard the camp version – check out this video with my friend Jalisa. It is a great sight to see camp staff singing this song in the pouring rain.
The rest of the week looks like it could rain some more – but we have faith in the Pearce Williams weather bubble…
