BattleStilts III was held today at camp. Best BattleStilts yet. Won by CrazyLegs Stilts.
Youth camp finished up today, ending our regularly scheduled summer program. It was a great last day of camp that included many campers asking about the Counsellor In Training program for next summer.
We have started our end of summer staff trip. Camp staff and CIT’s are spending tomorrow doing some service projects around our local community to help us better understand the needs our local community has and how various groups help to fill those needs.
Had a surprise video to our Summer Camp Director of the past three summers and long time staff member and camper Kix. She cried. That means she liked it. She is moving on from camp and will now be a nurse full time. We will miss her.
Sleep time in a church basement now.

BTW, you should make Icca (sorry don’t know how to spell that) do Director check ins next summer on the PW blog. They have been great.
