I spent a day a few weeks ago going through old letters; actual print letters from camp, university, Banff, British Columbia and everywhere that I have lived.
It is interesting to re-read letters from your life. Letters from people that I have forgotten about, lost touch with, misplaced in my memory.
It is something that I have been thinking about for quite a while – how we lose touch with people. How we lose touch with people that have had such an effect on our lives…
Here is my list for starters, of people I would love to get back in touch with and get to know how they are doing:
(This list is in no particular order and I will add to it as my misplaced memories return.)
Laura Stokes, Nicole Kernen, Lyndon Stewart, Tricia Arthurs, Anna Amarelo (McCready), Becky Bearinger, Wendy Beasley, James Noonan, Kaliegh O’Brien,
What to do if you find yourself on this page? The reason for this post is to put peoples names out there – into the blog sphere and online so that when someone types in their name – this page might come up. If you find yourself, or know someone on this page and you know where they are, let them know that I want to get back in touch…
Friendship is a part of our lives that moves through the times of our lives – different friends, different times. There are the great friends that, when you do speak to them again, it is like no time has passed. There are friends that were present for the defining moments of one’s life that drift away through no fault of either friend.
Christmas is a time for hope and a time to put family and friends into your thoughts and heart.
Merry Christmas.
