Song – Bazooka Bubble Gum

Bazooka Bubblegum Song

We introduced this song many years ago at Pearce Williams. It has been a big hit ever since. The dance part is very important and can be unique to your own camp or school. We have added a truly Canadian verse with our Toonie verse.

(First verse is Canadian – Toonie = $2 coin)

My mom, she gave me a Toonie
She told me to buy a baloonie
But I didn’t buy no baloonie
I bought some bubblegum.

Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum

My mom, she gave me a dollar
She told me to pop my collar
But I didn’t pop my collar
I bought some bubblegum.

Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum

My mom, she gave me a quarter
She told me to tip the porter
But I ain’t tipping no porter
I bought some bubblegum.

Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum

My Mom, she gave me a dime
She told me to buy a lime
But I ain’t buying no lime
I bought some bubblegum.

Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum

My mom, she gave me a nickel
She told me to buy a pickle
But I ain’t buying no pickle
I bought some bubblegum.

Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum
Bazooka-zooka bubblegum

My mom gave me a penny
She told me to buy some bubble gum
But I ain’t buying no bubble gum
I’M SICK OF BUBBLEGUM!
