Summer Camp – making the impossible possible

As a camp director I spend time thinking about our facilities, our maintenance needs, updating policies and procedures, and generally thinking about the logistics of summer camp.

I need to be vigilant to remind myself that the community of camp is the most important thing. The feeling, the welcoming, the emotion is what makes camp, “camp”.

Each summer we try to put together the most amazing staff team to help bring summer camp to life, to bring this
emotion that we call “camp” to life. This task would seem impossible to some.
