It is important for people to understand that there is no program like World Camp in Canada.
World Camp is not just for local people – it is for all Canadians – to give them a place to come and learn about poverty and cultural awareness.
To give people somewhere close to home that will allow them to learn about how people worldwide live and survive and thrive in what we would call poverty.
Poverty is a worldwide issue, but also one that affects all of our local communities. World Camp will help people see the affects but more importantly how to bring positive change to their local community.
